As a Senior Recruiter, I owe half of my success to my responsiveness! Nobody appreciates working with unresponsive individuals, especially in the recruiting process. In this highly competitive world, responding in a timely manner will certainly come to your advantage, whether it be standing out to Hiring Managers or rising to the top of Recruiters’ lists when suitable jobs become available. Even if you don’t have an answer or update for them at the moment, keeping them updated demonstrates that you genuinely care and are working in their best interest as well. This will not only enhance your reliability, but also allow you to form better relationships in the workforce! Timeliness is key!
